Cookie Policy

Effective Date: April 20, 2026|Last Updated: July 15, 2026

1.Introduction

Cyberwrite Inc. ("Cyberwrite," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on our website (cyberwrite.com) and platform. This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which cookies we use, why we use them, and how you can control them.

This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which provides additional information about how we handle personal data collected through cookies.

2.What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, provide functionality, and give website owners information about how their site is used.

In addition to cookies, we may use similar technologies such as:

  • Web beacons / pixel tags: Tiny transparent images embedded in web pages or emails that record whether a page or email was viewed.
  • Local storage: Browser-based storage used to retain preferences and session data beyond the cookie lifetime.
  • Session storage: Temporary storage cleared when the browser tab is closed, used to maintain state within a single session.
  • SDKs and tracking scripts: Third-party JavaScript libraries that collect behavioral and attribution data for analytics and marketing purposes.

3.Categories of Cookies We Use

We use four categories of cookies:

Essential

Strictly necessary for the website and platform to function. These cookies cannot be disabled. They are set in response to your actions (such as logging in or filling in forms) and do not require consent.

Functional

Enable enhanced functionality and personalization, such as remembering your language preference or display settings. Disabling these may affect your experience but will not prevent access to core services.

Analytics

Help us understand how visitors interact with our website by collecting and reporting information anonymously or pseudonymously. These are blocked when consent is not granted or when GPC is enabled.

Marketing

Used to deliver relevant advertisements and track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. These are blocked when consent is not granted or when GPC is enabled.

5.Legal Basis for Cookie Processing

Under the EU ePrivacy Directive, the UK PECR, and GDPR, different cookies require different legal bases:

  • Essential cookies: Processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a functioning website and platform. No consent is required.
  • Functional, Analytics, and Marketing cookies: Processed on the basis of your consent, obtained through our cookie consent banner before any non-essential cookies are placed.

For California residents, our use of cookies that constitute a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under CCPA/CPRA is subject to your opt-out right. Cyberwrite does not sell personal information. Where cookies enable cross-context behavioral advertising, you may opt out using the controls in Section 6.

6.How to Manage Your Cookie Preferences

You have several options for managing cookies:

Cookie Consent Banner

When you first visit our website, a cookie consent banner allows you to accept, reject, or customize non-essential cookies. You can revisit and update your preferences at any time by clicking the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer of our website.

Browser Settings

Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through their settings. Note that blocking all cookies may impair website functionality. Browser-specific instructions are available at your browser's help documentation.

Global Privacy Control

If your browser or privacy extension sends a GPC signal, Cyberwrite treats it as an opt-out from analytics, marketing, advertising and other non-essential tracking.

Google Analytics Opt-Out

You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Ad Industry Opt-Outs

For marketing and advertising cookies, you can opt out via the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info), the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org), or the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance (youronlinechoices.eu).

LinkedIn Ad Settings

Manage LinkedIn advertising preferences at linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controls.

Meta Ad Preferences

Manage Meta (Facebook/Instagram) advertising preferences at facebook.com/ads/preferences.

7.Third-Party Cookies and Services

Some cookies on our website are placed by third-party services. These third parties have their own privacy and cookie policies that govern how they use the data they collect. We encourage you to review these policies:

These transfers are subject to the third party's own international transfer mechanisms, including Standard Contractual Clauses or other approved safeguards. Where required, our Data Processing Agreements with these providers address international transfer requirements.

9.Retention of Cookie Data

Cookie data is retained for the duration shown in the cookie table in Section 4. Personal data collected via analytics and marketing cookies is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy retention schedule. When cookies expire, they are automatically deleted from your device. You can manually delete cookies at any time through your browser settings.

10.Updates to This Policy

We update this Cookie Policy when we add or remove cookies, when third-party providers change their services, or when legal requirements change. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through our cookie consent banner, which will prompt you to review and reconfirm your preferences where required by law.
